Hi, It’s nice to meet you. I’m Lita Sone, a current undergraduate student at S.I. Newhouse of Public Communications at Syracuse University majoring in public relations. Coming from Palo Alto, CA in the heart of Silicon Valley, I was surrounded by tech giants and startups growing up. As someone who can barely code but still wanted to be a part of the tech industry, I was amazed when I found out the world of communications and the possibilities it holds in tech, as well as many other industries. While I still am not sure which field of public relations to go into yet, my current interests in the field include connecting with other people and businesses, event planning, as well as managing company images through social media. I aim to develop and widen my skills further at Newhouse to provide various skills to my clients. In my free time, I watch anime, play video games, and crochet. Additionally, I really like graphic design, which comes from my love of working with my hands in various arts and crafts.
